Tailcaps are a form of clothing added by the Ideology DLC. For the outdoorsy look.

Acquisition

Requires complex clothing, made from textiles, and crafted at either an hand or electric tailor bench.

Summary

Textile note:

The tailcap is made leathers and/or skins, unlike the tuque which is made with wools or thread.

Analysis

The tailcap provides slightly lower insulation and item hp, than the similar tuque, but overall better armor protection.

A Thrumbofur tailcap, for winter head gear, is only exceeded in item hp by a, super rare, hyperweave tuque.
