The Inferno Cannon is a siege weapon wielded by Centipedes. Doesn't drop on death, making it Mechanoid-only.


Upon impact, it sets anything within a 2.4-tile radius on fire.


The primary danger of the cannon is not killing, but starting fires that can consume large areas and cause extensive damage if left uncontrolled.


Another major hazard is that it can drive your colonists out of cover in an attempt to put out themselves, leaving them to the mercy of the enemy.


It can also cover your colonists in burns, which do not bleed but cause extensive pain, putting them into shock and incapacitating them, or somewhat uncommonly scar badly. Downed colonists are also liable to death by fire unless rescued or put out.
