The yorkshire terrier is a small, fluffy dog originally bred for show. They may be chosen as one of the starter pets. Some consider it useless, but the mood boost it gives by nuzzling can outweigh the cost of feeding it. Good for leveling the Animal skill (and the related Hunting Stealth stat) among colonists with very low Animal skill.

Taming

Yorkshire terriers are notable for having no minimum colonist skill to train.

*As of version 1.1.2610, all animals can be tamed. The percentage of likelihood of success depends on factors such as the Animals Wildness Percentage, Pawn Handling Skill, and others. More information can be found on the Animals#Animal_husbandry page.
