A crematorium is an appliance used to burn corpses and unwanted apparel, destroying them. It needs to be researched before being unlocked. It was added in the 4.460 update (Alpha 4, "Giant Centipede Robots").
The crematorium can be used by adding a bill, similar to how a butcher table or cooking stove works.
The crematorium can be deconstructed to return 15 steel and 112 of the stone block which it was made of.
