Thrumbofur is produced when a cook butchers a thrumbo at a butcher table.

It has a much higher market value than other leathers, and also has much better armor stats, even surpassing that of hyperweave.

Thumbofur isn't easy to obtain since killing a Thrumbo is hard, but it is actually quite worthy since Clothing and armchairs made out of it have a higher value than any other leather/textile, surpassing Hyperweave in most aspects except sharp armor. A legendary Thumbofur Parka has a market value of 16105 silver and a legendary armchair made out of Thrumbofur has market value of 13200 silver, both items can be used to make a good profit when trading especially with exotic goods traders.

Bulk goods traders sometimes carry an small amount of Thumbofur for trading.
