This flooring does not require any metal to be constructed, but it needs to be placed on rough stone and takes a greater amount of time to be completed than artificial flooring above.
It is recommended to be used as standard flooring whenever available, as it provides an pleasant environment-bonus to your colonists. Perfect flooring for a "Dwarfy" colony, built into the side of a mountain.
