A {{lc:{}}} offers a {{+|{}%}} increase to Social Impact. Note: Social impact predominately affects the Opinion bonuses and maluses pawn interactions can create, the success chance of SpeechesRoyaltyIcon and some rituals.IdeologyIcon It does NOT affect trade prices, as that is instead dependent on Trade Price Improvement. Nor does it affect prisoner recruitment, beyond slightly hastening how quickly the prisoners like the warden, as that is instead dependent on Negotiation Ability.

When equipped, it reduces the pawn's base move speed by {{--|{}}} CS. This -0.12 penalty is then multiplied by Moving and other factors to actual movement speed.

Offsets, such as the speed decrease from gear or traits, occurs before multiplicative factors such as Moving. So while a normal human moves at 4.6c/s, and a human in a flak vest moves at 4.48c/s for a difference of -0.12c/s, a pawn with 2 archotech legs would move at 6.9c/s while the same pawn in a flak vest would move at 6.72c/s for a difference of -0.18c/s. Similarly, jogger-traited human moves at 5.00c/s for a difference of 0.40/s compared to baseline, but a pawn with 2 archotech legs would move at 6.9c/s while the same pawn as a jogger would move at 7.50c/s for a difference of +0.60c/s.</includeonly><noinclude>Documentation</noinclude>

Just standardizes the spiel about what the Move Speed penalties that are inflicted by some apparel and the way that penalty is applied..

First variable is necessary and contains the move speed penalty. Second is optional and allows a name to be specified.

Examples[edit]

When equipped, a lead plated godzilla costume reduces the pawn's base move speed by −4.5 c/s. As offsets such as these apply before multiplicative effects such as from Moving capacity, the actual impact on move speed can be larger or smaller than this value. For example, a pawn with 125% Moving would have their speed decreased by −5.625 c/s, while a pawn with only 50% Moving would only have their speed decreased by −2.25 c/s. See Move Speed for details.

When equipped, an albino rabbit slippers reduces the pawn's base move speed by −0.15 c/s. As offsets such as these apply before multiplicative effects such as from Moving capacity, the actual impact on move speed can be larger or smaller than this value. For example, a pawn with 125% Moving would have their speed decreased by −0.1875 c/s, while a pawn with only 50% Moving would only have their speed decreased by −0.075 c/s. See Move Speed for details.
