Bionics

Bionics may refer to one of several different body part replacements that fall under the research category bionic replacement:

• Bionic arm*
• Bionic eye*
• Bionic ear
• Bionic heart
• Bionic leg*
• Bionic spine
• Bionic stomach
• Bionic tongue

They are superior to normal body parts, and provide a bridge between the inferior-to-natural prosthetics and the ultimate but uncraftable archotech* parts.

(* The only prosthetics available at the Archotech level are arm, eye, and leg. The bionic ear, heart, spine, stomach and tongue are the ultimate available in the core game.)

"Bionics" may also informally refer to artificial body parts generally, but is not used as such in-game.
