Gameplay Overview

The club is a neolithic weapon in RimWorld that can be crafted out of any material and at a crafting spot. Commonly used by tribes, but can also be seen on bog standard pirates and Outlanders(?) too, the club deals blunt damage meaning it's generally slightly more effective when put up against armoured foes. It does the same damage per hit as its more modern cousin - the Mace, but has a slightly longer cooldown time.

It could be argued that a Jade Club is the most effective blunt-damaging melee weapon in the game, trading blows with a Plasteel Mace (dependent on enemy and level of armour) when it comes to raw damage output: A normal quality Jade Club dishes out 17 damage per hit with a cooldown period of 2.64 seconds (for a theoretical DPS of 6.439), versus a Plasteel mace which does 11 damage per hit for a 1.68 second cooldown (6.548 DPS).
