Saw this reddit thread semi-recently and if someone is having difficulty parsing the math, others will be and an example might be necessary. There might also need to be a general explanation on how stats are calculated (even though there are at least 4 different methods) on some central page (not this one). Thoughts on how to improve the situation are welcome.
