Reinforced barrel
A large barrel for projectile-based weapons like mortars. In order to hold the high launch pressures, it is specially reinforced and cannot be manufactured at a small scale.

Reinforced barrels are ?. They, along with the requirement for their use, are removed from the game entirely if the Classic mortars storyteller option is enabled.
Acquisition
Vistors, combat suppliers, and faction bases from outlander factions can have them for sale. They tend to cost 400-700 Silver. An affective way to require bulk Reinforced Barrels is to lead traders with them into insectoid hives and retrieve the barrels while the bugs sleep.
Analysis
Used to re-arm a mortar, needed for every 20 shots.
