There are some items in RimWorld that can not be obtained by normal means and have to be spawned in by means of developmental mode. Currently, there are only 4 unobtainable items:

Mechanoid Weapons

Mechanoids are seen to carry these weapons into raids, but unfortunately do not drop then on death.

Note: Mechanoids do drop Miniguns on death.

Other Ranged Weapons

The Improvised turret gun automatically appears when installed onto a turret, but when the turret is deconstructed, the gun does not drop, making the gun "unobtainable".
