Template:Tocright The User Interfaces are on the main game screen, which features the 'Colony Map'. Each User Interface is either a Button, transparently displayed menu or object.


Button / Menu / Object Screen Location Description or Function
Architect button, with sub-buttons for (Orders, Zone/Area, Structure, Production, Furniture, Power, Security, Misc, Floors, Joy, Ship, Temperature) [Bottom left corner] Use the Architect menu to access submenu's to build your Colony base, place or change objects, and control Colonist actions (mining, harvesting, etc.) The Architect menu changes to the current object selected on the Colony Map. If no Architect menu or game object is selected on the Colony Map, descriptive text is provided for the cursor's current location.
Resources menu [Top left corner] This transparent menu shows how much Resources are held by Colonists located in Stockpiles, and includes money, food, clothing, weapons, and metals. Resources worn or held by Colonists and resources not located in defined Stockpiles are excluded. Resources in Dumping Stockpiles are also excluded.
Overview, Research, Menu buttons [Bottom right corner] The codex is a work-in-progress help tab.
Time speed control [Bottom right corner] using normal, double, or triple speed.
Current time. [Bottom right corner] Days and hours since you have landed.
Current alerts and suggestions [Top right corner] Alerts when colonists are about to go insane, or if they need rescue. Also displays helpful tips.
Debug and modding tools [Top right corner]
Toggle visible of zones [Bottom right corner]
