A large grain plant which produces ears of delicious yellow seeds. Takes a relatively long time to grow, but yields lots of food, and takes a long time to spoil. As of version 0.15.1279 (29 August 2016) corn can be eaten raw but colonists will receive a -7 penalty to mood for eating raw food. Needs fertile soil to grow well. Requires 7.25 days of growth with full light and within temperature range to mature. Can only be grown in the growing zone. It is unable to grow in a hydroponics basin.
