Project Armory has around 160 firearms, launchers, grenades, melee and throwable weapons. We make content from every, time period, game and movie with the vanilla RimWorld graphics and sounds. The project is semi-open and all content in the mod are allowed to be used as you see fit we only ask the user to link us so other can find other weapons. There for have we created a tool so you easily can turn on and off weapons you don't like or want to have. We also provide guides on how you export weapons in to your own mod.

List of content

Weapons in this list below are for the future version 2.18 if you what to help out adding them contact Evul on the forum. The list is not done yet and is missing many weapons.

The mod contains around 160 weapons from different time periods, movies and games. Here are the weapons currently in the mod:

Time in RimWorld passes as a series of ticks. On normal game speed, there are 60 such ticks to a real second; there are always 2,500 ticks to one in-game hour.

The game starts in the year 5500. The in-game clock is in 24-hour format with the hours displayed in military time from 0h to 23h.

Time proceeds as one would expect except that the four months are named "quadrums." They are named as portmanteaus of terrestrial months, suggesting seasonal associations: "Decembary," "Aprimay," "Jugust," and "Septober." Each individual quadrum is always 15 days, after which you proceed into the next quadrum.

Time of day is modeled on the planet view; local time of day corresponds to how the sunlight hits the planet.

As of Alpha 17 (May 24th, 2017), season names could no longer be consistently applied to the entire globe, necessitating that they be named as month-like "quadrums."

Weapons and bullets list

Here you'll find the different weapons and bullets. Weapons in Project Armory is sorted in to different classes. This is to make sure that weapons stay balanced.

Bullets

Project Armory uses classed bullet based speed and damage. This means that the damage of a 7.62x51mm NATO is the same for all Assault Rifles (AR) and will be different for a Sniper Rifle (SR) to simulate different mechanics and also balance things. Each bullet in the mod uses the real bullets ballistic performances in joule (J) and in meter per second (M/S) together with a formula for calculating the RimWorld weapon class damage and speed.

Tool: Weapon Kit Switcher

The Weapons Kit Switcher tool is located in the mod directory were you installed the mod (.../Mods/ProjectArmory/Weapons Kit Switcher.exe). The tool allows you to activate and deactivate groups or single weapons so you don't have to use all of them if you don't want.

License

All weapons texture and code may be altered to the users liking to fit the world the user wants to create. You may add or remove weapons of your downloaded Project Armory Pack to further more customize your world. You are also allowed to publish Project Armory weapons in your own modpack or mod. The only thing we ask for is that you link to our forum page so people that like the weapons can download more of them.

Yes, its why this mod exist. All we ask is that you add a credit to Project Armory and link this forum page. So people can get more guns if they liked them! Se User Licence just above for more information.

May i do a submod/modmod or texture pack?

Yes just add a credit and send Evul a PM on the forum so he can add your mod to the forum posts "Addons/Packs/Fan Content" section!

How do i export a weapon?

To export a weapon you need to go to "...ProjectArmory\Defs\ThingDefs\" and copy the weapons and the bulletDef file you like to use. Then you paste it to your mod "...\YourMod\Defs\ThingDefs\". Next you need to go to "\Textures\Things\Item\" copy the weapons you selected. And paste them to your mod whit this pathway: "...\YourMod\Textures\Things\Item\". Make sure you copy the projectile if a custom one is use. You have now exported a weapon to your mod! If you are publishing the mod make sure to add a link to Project Armory.
