See the title. Although some items cannot be used by human pawns, they can be used by the mechanoid that you as a player can control. Maybe it's better to change the phrasing? For example:
Now:
- The Mini-shotgun is an unobtainable ranged weapon added by the Biotech DLC.
To:
- The Mini-shotgun is a ranged weapon added by the Biotech DLC that is exclusively used by militors.
