Template:Page Under Construction
Template documentationMarks a page as under construction. This is a notice that the page may not be up to standard only. It does not tag the page into a category. Combine with Template: Stub or Template: Rewrite if categorization is needed.
Parameters
The template has 6 parameters, four unnamed, two named.
The unnamed parameters are the names of the users involved in the construction of the page. Use the the user name alone, do not attempt to format it or include the namespace.
help is an optional parameter. A number between 0 and 2 is chosen to display whether assistance is encouraged or not. Generally a page should only be tagged as discouraged assistance if there is a strong plan for the page in its entirety and other editors may disrupt the construction process. Once the page is complete this discouragement no longer applies and conflicts should be resolved as usual. Discouragement is also not law and other user may choose it fix glaring problems, especially those that affect other pages. The tag may also be ignored or even outright changed disabled if a discouraged page is left for too long unedited. The default value is Encouraged.
- 0 = Assistance is: Encouraged
- 1 = Assistance is: Agreeable
- 2 = Assistance is: Discouraged
reason is an optional parameter where any explanation/clarificatio/etc can be entered.
