Raw fungus obtained by harvesting fungi growing in caves.
When used in food recipes, raw fungus is classified as a vegetable.
In RimWorld core, it cannot be farmed, making it a suplementary source of vegetables only. However, in the Ideology DLC, it can now be farmed by harvesting Nutrifungus. However this is balanced by the existence of the Fungus precept that makes all non-Tunneler colonists despite the taste of fungus give a -6 mood penalty when eaten raw and a -3 mood penalty for cooked. Tunnelers in contrast get a +6 mood penalty when eaten raw and a +6 mood penalty for cooked.
