Persona core
A hyper-advanced computer core that houses a peak-human-equivalent machine persona. In its isolated state, the core is dormant. Installed in a proper support structure, however, it can become a mind of great power.

As you need only one core to win the game, additional cores can be traded away without fear of setting yourself back.
The AI persona core can be installed into a pawn's brain through the operations menu. A pawn with the AI persona core installed in their brain will be enhanced in several ways:
- x150% Pain
- x150% Hunger Rate
- x50% Tiredness
- +50% Consciousness
- +20% Blood Filtration
- +20% Blood Pumping

Prior to Beta 18, an AI persona core could be salvaged by destroying a psychic ship or found for purchase from an exotic goods trader.
