Home zone is an area mostly used for marking base. It decides where your colonists can clean floors (or ground) and extinguish fires.

Adding home zone

To add home zone click Architect bar in bottom left corner. Then select Orders tab and choose Add Home Zone.
Now you can mark home zone by dragging your mouse.

Removing home zone

If you want to remove earlier added home zone, select Orders tab again and choose Remove Home Zone.
The same way like in adding, drag your mouse to remove home zone.
