Acquisition

As a complicated piece of technology, a Gunlink can only be made at the Fabrication bench and requires Gunlink to be researched in order to be constructed. Crafting the armor requires Plasteel 10 plasteel, Advanced component 1 advanced components and a crafting skill of 6.

Alternatively, the armor can be received as a quest reward, purchased from traders, or found on Imperial forces

Higher quality gunlinks are largely irrelevant. The accuracy bonus doesn't improve, and the only stats that are meaningfully affected are deterioration rate and market value, resulting in higher colony wealth.
