All gear can be burned using the [[Crematorium|crematorium]]. Simply create a "burn apparel" bill, and be sure to uncheck anything you want to keep (like Body Armor, or Powered Armor).

From the gear tab, you can drop items or use food. Dropping equipped items (weapons, utility, apparel) is not an instant process. Equipping apparel also has a delay. Multiple drops can be queued while holding ⇧ Shift and clicking.
