Fungal gravel is a type of floor. Placing fungal gravel requires the Tunneler meme. It can only be placed underneath overhead mountain. It has a fertility of 70%. It is NOT required for growing nutrifungus, which will grow on any soil type but sand (a "Dark Room", or at least a supported constructed roof is needed to block any light). Similarly, you can any plant in the gravel that could plant on similarly fertile soil and under a roof.

Statistically identical to stoney gravel, if left untended, in total darkness, it may spawn Timbershrooms.

Note that fungal gravel can be removed.
