An Effigy is a consumable ritual focus added by the Ideology DLC. It serves as a focus for the Symbol Burning ritual.
Acquisition
Effigies can only be constructed by pawns with an ideoligion that has selected them as a building option. Only ideoligions with the Nudism, Raider, Flesh Purity, Pain Is Virtue, Individualist or Human Primacy memes or Ideological structure can select them. Each effigy requires 80 Wood and 3,000 ticks (50 secs) of work.

Adding a symbol burning festival without giving your Ideoligion access to either the pyre, sacrificial flag, or effigy will result in the ritual being impossible to complete.
