Nociospheres have a healing factor of 0, and never regenerate health otherwise. So it makes sense that it wouldn't fare as well against the second raid.
Also, an interesting detail about its drops: It does leave behind a few steel slag chunks when killed, but they are instantly destroyed by the sphere's own explosion.
