The tool cabinet is a passive building that provides a 6% work speed bonus to workbenches within its range. It is a Facility and can be found in the Misc section of the Architect menu. Current only the Smithing bench, tailor's workbench, sculptor's table, Butcher table, Machining table and Stonecutter's table can be connected to a tool cabinet. These correspond with the requirements for the Workshop Room role, excluding the electric smelter. Some mods may add benches that also benefit from the tool cabinet, so keep that in mind when planning your Workshop. There is no limit to the number of workbenches a tool cabinet can connect to. A bench can at most connect to two tool cabinets, therefore allowing a possible 12% increase in work speed.
