Stone blocks are produced by cutting rock chunks on a Stonecutter's table after researching Stonecutting. Colonist with 'crafting' enabled will perform this task, but performing it does not grant any skill progress. Stone blocks are always produced in batches of 20 per rock chunk. Blocks can also be salvaged by deconstructing abandoned structures.

Stone blocks can be used to build walls and doors, lay fancy floors with faster walk speed and less ugliness penalty as well as furniture and production benches. It's also the prime resource for crafting sculptures.
