When someone touches the trigger, the trap explodes and sprays a fire-extinguishing foam around itself.

The IED firefoam trap explodes in a 5-tile radius shortly after an enemy had walked over it, spreading firefoam.
Spreading firefoam isn't an efficient combat tactic, and may even help the enemy by extinguishing them while burning and fireproofing the area they're in. Still, the trap might buy you a little time especially if chained together, due to the slowing effects of firefoam.
