Firefighting is present in only one form of the game so far. It is accomplished by allowing the colonists to go over to a burning portion of the map and "stomp" on the fire until it goes out completely. Colonists will ONLY stomp on the fires if the fire is within a designated home zone. Without the home zone, colonists will just ignore the fires and carry on with their duties.

If the fires manage to spread to an area that is completely blocked off from the colonist, (such as the center of solar panels) the fire will be unable to be put out by colonists until it rains or the structure is destroyed.

Note that the colonists can catch on fire while trying to put out the fires. If this is to occur, the player must prioritize a different colonist to attempt to put out the flames of their burning comrade.

If a colonist doesn't put out the flames, the colonist on fire will:

    1) automatically (by chance) have the flames burn themselves out
    2) become incapacitated and stop burning
    3) the colonist will continue to burn until death

The game may begin to generate rain as the fires are burning. The rain is able to extinguish the fire over a period of time. Through the duration of the rain, the fire will not spread or grow any larger.
